The Château de Chantilly (a property owned by the Institut de France) invites visitors to discover a prestigious site, one of the finest cultural heritages in France. Both connoisseurs of art and nature lovers will be delighted by the collections in the Condé Museum, an illustrious example of 19th century museography, the museum of paintings (the only museum in France apart from the Louvre that has 3 Raphael paintings), the period furniture and the library (the Cabinet des Livres with nearly 13 000 works), and have the opportunity to visit the grounds of the Château and the many places available for receptions (Château, Jeu de Paume, Maison de Sylvie and the Park).

The Château de Chantilly also has a park of 115 hectares including the French-style garden with fountains and ponds designed by Le Nôtre. Temporary facilities can be set up in the Park according to requirements.

With its exceptional volume, the Jeu de Paume, which is located not far away from the Grandes Ecuries, has been entirely conserved and is a perfect venue for your conventions. It houses a remarkable collection of paintings. If you want to "light up" your reception, a sound and light spectacle lasting several minutes is available. 380 seated places, 600 for cocktails and 400 for group sessions.

The Maison de Sylvie is ideal of seminars and marriages. This charming 17th century building, baptised "Sylvie" by the poet Théophile de Viau, is a memory to the Duchesse de Montmorency. Seated meals for up to 150 guests, 250 people for cocktails, 70 to 80 for group sessions.

A princely evening on the Chantilly Domain*

During this evening, your guests will discover the two jewels of the Chantilly Domain: the Grand Stables, masterpiece of the 18th century, and the Condé château - museum, the second museum in France in terms of the wealth of its painting collection: collections from the 16th to the 19th centuries (Raphaël, Carrache, Poussin, Watteau, Delacroix, Ingres, Corot...). They will also visit the library, which holds one of the greatest collections of rare, precious books (the Très Riches heures du duc de Berry – 15th century), as well as the Princes of Condé’s living quarters (18th century decor: furniture and art objects).

- 7.00 p.m. Guests arrive at the Chantilly Domain.

- 7.15 p.m. Guests are welcomed in the Grand Stables of the Princes of Condé (Living Museum of the Horse).

- 7.30 p.m. Horse show, followed by a cocktail party.

- 8.00 p.m. Guests are able to access the park via the château’s Grille d'Honneur (main gate) and drive along a candlelit route. Parking is provided on the Connétable terraces.

- Guests are welcomed to the château’s Cour d'Honneur (principal courtyard) by the sound of hunting horns and treated to a sword-fight in period costume.

- 8.30 p.m. Dinner in the château (Condé Museum).

- 10.30 p.m. A firework display set to music on the North Parterre.

- 11.30 p.m. Guests leave.
