This room, typical of the decorative arts under the July Monarchy, is furnished with a queen canopy bed and a charming upholstered Louis XV style furniture set. The bedroom is adorned at the center of a N. Diaz of the Pena ceiling (1845) representating birds, a garland of roses and the Duchess' number (C. A).

Neo-gothic prayer bench, marquetry furniture by cabinetmaker Grohé. Wedding portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Aumale (1844), with the Duke wearing his Winterhalter Army of Africa uniform, and the Duchess in a court costume designed by Austrian Schrotzberg. The Duchess was the daughter of Archduchess Marie Clémentine of Habsburg and of Leopold of Bourbon-Sicile, a Neapolitan Prince; she also was the granddaughter of Austria’s Emperor Francis 1er.
