Book of King Modus and Queen Ratio by Henry of Ferrers

Book of King Modus and Queen Ratio by Henry of Ferrers
The text of Henry of Ferrers is the oldest French treaty dealing with venerie and falconry. Written in the 1370’s, it is slightly more contemporary to the much more complete book of Gaston Phebus and the poem of Gace de la Buigne about The Hunting Deducts.
