An extensive ten-year action programme was launched in 2006 for the protection, the restoration and the enhancement of the overall site (Château, park and garden, Monkey Room, Great Stables, new facilities, services and activities on the Estate). Supported by the Foundation for the safeguard and development of the Chantilly Estate, the action programme is also part of a public-private partnership in which the Regional Board of Cultural Affairs, the Region of Picardie and the Department of Oise are associated.
The Regional Board of Cultural Affairs of Picardie The Regional Board of Cultural Affairs of Picardie contributes to the restoration works of the Chantilly Estate, with an envelope that can reach 1 500 000 € per year over the course of 10 years. The Board has been particularly involved in the Hameau's restoration, the Grand Axe Le Nôtre, the English Garden of the House of Sylvie, the Jeu de Paume and the courtyard of the Great Stables.
The region of Picardie Picardie contributes to the restoration works of the Chantilly Estate with an envelope that can reach 500 000 € per year over the course of 10 years. It has participated in the financing of the restoration of the Grand Axe Le Nôtre, the sheperds of the Hameau, the courtyard of the Great Stables, the English Garden and the Jeu de Paume. The region also participated in the digitalization of the Estate collections.
The department of Oise contributes to the restoration works of the Chantilly Estate with an envelope that can reach 500 000 € per year over the course of 10 years. It was involved in the financing of the Grand Axes Le Nôtre restoration, the English Garden and the Jeu de Paume. It will finance the restoration works of the honor gate and its surroundings.

For the pleasure of everyone, from the younger to the older ones, the house acts as the remaining historical witness of the "Grandes Eaux" of gardens designed by Le Nôtre and of the science and technology evolution from the seventeenth century to our days.

The Princes kitchen garden: the Princes kitchen garden offers a delightful walk in the park listed as one of France's Remarkable Gardens. Lovers of beautiful locations will discover a garden symphony and an amazing kitchen garden. Educational boards along the walk will teach children the life of both the flora and the fauna of the park in an entertaining way. Three shows await them in the afternoon, the hen demonstration, an introduction to the sheperd dog work and the rabbit race.
